Robert W. Corry, P.E., S.E.
Structural Division Manager
Robert attended Southern Utah University and graduated in 1996 with an Associate Degree in Engineering. He then transferred to Utah State University to complete his bachelor's degree and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1998 with a degree in Civil Engineering. After completing his bachelor's degree, Robert continued his education at the University of Wyoming. He graduated in 1999 with a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in structural design.
Following graduation from the University of Wyoming, he accepted an offer with Carl Walker, Inc. and began work in their Denver, Colorado office. He worked there for seven years. He began working as a design engineer and as his experience and expertise increased he was promoted to project engineer and then to project manager.
In 2003 Robert prepared for and passed the Professional Engineer's Examination. In 2006 he passed the NCEES Structural I and II exams. He is currently licensed as a Professional Engineer in Utah, Nevada, Arizona, Colorado and Wyoming
and a Professional Structural Engineer in Utah, Nevada and Arizona.
In July of 2007 Robert accepted a position as the Structural Division Manager at GEM Engineering, Inc. Since joining GEM Engineering Robert has completed several structural designs and reviews. In addition to his structural duties Robert also oversees the Special Inspection division.
